Spokane Pop Warner

Developing sound character while having a good time, Spokane Pop Warner utilizes football and cheerleading as outlets to teach our youth valuable lessons in teamwork, leadership, discipline, and confidence. SPW is a thriving community youth sports program that serves nearly 300 children annually. Pop Warner is the nation’s only youth football program that prioritizes academics first and stresses safety by setting and enforcing a strict age/weight matrix that is proven to reduce the risks of athletic injuries. 

SPW serves as a valuable connection in the Spokane community, linking kids to safe, fun activities that keep them healthy and away from at-risk activities. Our nonprofit organization is the only tackle football program available to Spokane kids in kindergarten through second grade and helps fill the gaps in sports activities available to elementary and middle school kids residing in District 81.
