Summary:
This person will be responsible for leading the Hiring team of the Rescue. They will lead with PHR Core Values, seeking high quality candidates and supporting their team with a culture of continued improvement.
Key Results Area #1 - Leadership
- Leads team with PHR Core Values
- Responsible for team consistency and sense of urgency
- Communicates and collaborates with other Pack Leaders regularly
Key Results Area #2 - Gatekeeping
- Maintains Rescue’s high standards and Core Values with all incoming volunteers
- Maintains best fit for volunteer over needs of the Rescue
- Oversees digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and quick follow up
- Keeps databases and online files accurate and cleaned up; keeps accurate archives and rosters
- Works closely with Onboarding Pack to create seamless handoff
Key Results Area #3 - Continued Improvement
- Encourages a positive culture of feedback, goal setting and accountability
- Collaborates with Onboarding and other People Packs to improve the hiring and onboarding experience of our volunteers
- Follows candidates beyond Hiring to collects data and watch for patterns to improve processes
- Implements new tools, assessments or other ideas to further refine processes
