Mass Care Volunteer
Mass Care volunteers are a crucial part of the Red Cross mission. Mass Care volunteers work to carry out essential functions during disasters and work to assist victims of disaster in shelter settings. Volunteers work to help meet immediate emergency needs of families affected by disaster, and work to set up and carry out tasks in emergency shelters. Volunteers must possess good communication skills.
These volunteers may be responsible for any of the following:

Setting up shelters when need arises so clients have a safe place to when displaced

Assist with on-scene distribution of disaster supplies, beverages, and/or meal preparation and service

Distribute comfort kits and shelter supplies to clients
