Caritas FB will be adding a new time for a food distribution. We will begin in May, once a month to start, 2nd Wednesday of each month, 4-6:30p. Caritas FB is set up like a grocery store where the client can self select their items while keeping their dignity in tact. The volunteer will walk the client thru to assist in selections and item limits. You will use a cart, pencil, and log sheet. Once client has finished, the items will be weighed and documented. Client will then unload items into their mode of transportation. There will be light cleaning and staging at the end of the shift. Volunteer will need to be able to stand, walk slowly, bend, some light lifting.
