Description: Help Spokane Valley Community Advocates (SVCA) prepare for our September reopening by organizing resources that help neighbors understand options, ask questions, and connect with community support. Resource Navigation volunteers help strengthen the tools used to guide neighbors from hardship toward stability. Volunteers will also be trained in the intake process (by phone) if they stay on after Sept 1, 2026.
Volunteer Duties:
- Update and verify community resource lists
- Prepare simple resource handouts for September reopening
- Help organize Resource Navigation materials for future volunteer training
Good Fit For: Volunteers who enjoy research, organization, problem-solving, and helping connect people with information and resources.
Training provided. WSP background check required.
