Become a Home Fire
Preparedness Volunteer
Seven times a day, someone in this country dies in a home fire. The American Red Cross has launched a nationwide campaign to reduce this number and our volunteers can help save lives and prevent injuries.
There are many ways you can be involved:
 Go door-to door and speak with residents about the importance of smoke alarms and promote the free smoke
alarm installation service.
Help residents develop a fire escape plan and complete a fire-safety checklist.
Install smoke alarms, replace batteries and teach residents how to test and maintain their smoke alarms.

On December 3rd, we need 30 volunteers to canvass targeted neighborhoods and install FREE smoke alarms. 

Lunch provided - no dietary restrictions will be accommodated

Youth age 16+ are able to participate with parental consent and adult supervision!
