Who We Are
An international nonprofit that heals critically ill children and builds healthcare capacity in Central American and the Eastern Caribbean. Our vision is for every child, regardless of where they live, to have access to quality, critical care in order to live a full and productive life.
What We Do
World Pediatric Project mobilizes dozens of pediatric diagnostic and surgery specialist teams each year. Annually, more than 2,000 children receive diagnostic or surgical care in their home countries or regions. World Pediatric Project links access to care for children with often highly complex and/or urgent surgical intervention situations to advanced pediatric hospitals in the United States and internationally. World Pediatric Project’s Children of Tomorrow programs focus on strengthening a country’s own capacity to care for the critical needs of their children for the future.
