What We Do
The City of Cheney sponsors an annual community cleanup day, the Cheney Clean Sweep, where volunteers comb the streets and alleys of town to pick up litter. Cheney Clean Sweep also provides opportunities for local residents to properly dispose of worn-out and outdated electronics, household hazardous waste (such as paints, solvents, or batteries), and personal papers, via a shred event co-sponsored by a local credit union.
