Cheney Historical Museum

Volunteers sharing the history of Four Lakes, Marshall, Cheney, Tyler, and Amber districts since 1935.

Our collection comes from the families, businesses, farms, and organizations in our districts. We actively seek new materials to add to the collection, so that our story may become richer and more complete. We care for these materials through your donations, so they will be available for future generations.

Our exhibits use these materials to engage visitors in our story, and to help young people gain a new perspective and fuel their imaginations. The museum and its programs are operated completely by volunteers and through your donations. We receive no local government funding for our facility or operations.

Our museum, exhibits, programs, and tours happen only though the generosity of community volunteers.
