Who We Are
Y.O.U. funds and guides hunting and fishing adventures to youth diagnosed with a life threatening illness and/or a physical disability. All expenses related to these adventures are covered through Y.O.U.'s fundraising efforts including all travel expenses, food, lodging, outfitting, licensing, taxidermy, meat processing, photo and video. Hunting adventures include extensive training and guidance to prepare each youth for an enjoyable and safe hunting experience. This includes several training sessions to make them safe and accurate for them to not only have a successful hunt but also teach them the skills to become lifelong hunters. All equipment for both hunting and fishing adventures are provided for use by the organization.
These adventures are provided to youth fitting our medical criteria without regard to race, sex, ethnic origin, religion or financial status.
Y.O.U. believes that time in the outdoors can be healing and enjoyable giving them an opportunity to experience the outdoors regardless of any physical challenges.
If you know a youth facing a life threatening illness or physical disability that is interested in an opportunity to enjoy a hunting or fishing adventure contact our Executive Director at (509) 431-1604 or you@youthoutdoorsu.org.
What We Do
Youth Outdoors Unlimited, Y.O.U. is a 501(c)3 corporation organized to take youth diagnosed with a life threatening illness or physical disability on fully funded and guided hunting or fishing adventures.
These adventures are provided completely free to the youth and their families because of the financial support from those throughout our communities. Your financial support is necessary for Y.O.U. to provide these opportunities to your youth who are facing some difficult medical situations.
