FAFSA Opens Doors

LaunchNW is a community mission that brings the Inland Northwest together to build networks of support for our youth. An initiative of Innovia Foundation, LaunchNW is committed to collaborative governance. Our staff convene and work alongside volunteers across Eastern Washington and North Idaho to remove barriers and empower futures for children in our region.

The FAFSA Opens Doors campaign from LaunchNW is designed to bridge the gap between students, schools, and families—ensuring that every student in Eastern Washington and North Idaho knows about and completes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). The campaign helps schools and community partners offer events, resources, and ambassadors to demystify FAFSA/WASFA for students and families—highlighting how these forms unlock federal, state, and scholarship dollars for college, trade school, or apprenticeships. By raising awareness, providing multilingual support, and facilitating completion, the initiative works to maximize financial aid access and thus strengthen post-high-school opportunities.
