Who We Are
The Spokane Humane Society is the oldest animal organization in Spokane. Founded in 1897, we provide shelter and medical care to abandoned and homeless animals. We are independently funded by private grants and donations - we are not associated with any other rescue organizations or national organizations.
What We Do
We find new homes for dogs and cats in the greater Spokane area.
We offer a wealth of volunteer opportunities from dog walking to cat petting and working at events + helping with various chores on our 40 acre campus.
