Caritas FB will be adding a new time for a food distribution. We will begin in May, once a month to start, 2nd Wednesday of each month, 4-6:30p. Caritas FB is set up like a grocery store where the client can self select their items while keeping their dignity in tact. The volunteer will walk the client thru to assist in selections and item limits. You will use a cart, pencil, and log sheet. Once client has finished, the items will be weighed and documented. Client will then unload items into their mode of transportation. There will be light cleaning and staging at the end of the shift. Volunteer will need to be able to stand, walk slowly, bend, some light lifting.

Caritas FB is looking for a person who could assist with procuring items for raffles, and events. You would use the internet for contact information, email donation requests, do some phone work, complete spreadsheet. Everything is scripted. 2 hours a week, M, W, or Thursday. Must have pleasant personality and phone etiquette. Will be working in a team environment.

Person needed to be part of a team to unload incoming donations. EVERY Monday 8:30-10:30. Volunteer will be lifting up to 50 lbs at times, stage food in designated locations. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, use of a step stool and cart.

The volunteer will walk the client thru to assist in selections and item limits. You will use a cart, pencil, and log sheet. Once client has finished, the items will be weighed and documented. There will be set up for the next days distribution and light cleaning at the end of the shift. Volunteer will need to be able to stand, walk slowly, bend, some light lifting. We ask for a minimum of twice a month at 3 hours per shift. Shift hours 9-12:30, 10:20-1:45
