Volunteer: Board Member – Fundraising & Development (Volunteer)
Clean Start Community Services is seeking a dedicated volunteer Board Member with experience or interest in fundraising, grant writing, or donor development to support our early-stage nonprofit growth.
This board role will help strengthen Clean Start’s financial sustainability by supporting fundraising strategy, grant research, donor outreach, and community partnerships. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping build long-term systems that support hygiene access, dignity, and stability for families and veterans in Spokane County.
Key Responsibilities: • Support fundraising strategy and donor outreach efforts • Assist with grant research, writing, or review (as applicable) • Help identify corporate, foundation, and community funding opportunities • Participate in board meetings and strategic planning • Act as an ambassador for Clean Start Community Services
Ideal Experience (not required): • Fundraising, grant writing, development, or nonprofit leadership • Community connections or donor relations experience • Interest in social services, housing stability, or community health
Time Commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours per month. Flexible and remote-friendly options available.
