Volunteer: Community Needs LiaisonInland Empire Legal Aid is seeking a Community Needs Liaisons to help us better understand the legal needs of the communities we serve. This volunteer will engage directly with community members and partner organizations to gather meaningful data on barriers to legal services, unmet legal needs, and opportunities for expanded outreach. The information collected will directly inform program development, clinic placement, and service delivery across IELA’s legal programs. Student Interns/Volunteers can expect to shadow legal professionals at legal clinics, conduct office duties and attend outreach/community events. We require all students to come in for an informal interview and conduct a background check. We accept volunteers who just want to give their time supporting the daily work necessary to keep IELA sustainable. IELA regularly has office and community work that can be done. We offer training on all our tasks and give you flexibility to choose your hours. We will conduct a background check and an informal interview.
