Recreational opportunities include mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, boating and more! Project Description: From Carlson trailhead, we will head down to the 2 red shops within the Trautman property to work on a variety of tasks. Pick your project and stay as long as you like! We will work on: picnic table sanding/staining (in heated shop), forest health (removing small trees in overcrowded stands), trail maintenance (improve tread, decommission unnecessary trail), or feed a burn pile! Hiking Information: 1/2 mile on moderately steep terrain (dirt and rock trail). Planning Information: No experience is necessary; we will provide the training and tools you need. Expect to be physically active at your own pace for up to 4 hours on uneven terrain. No problem if you need to leave early, but please be on time to sign in and attend safety briefing! Recommended for ages 10 and older; under 14 must be accompanied by an adult and a parental consent form must be signed for anyone under 18.
