Spokane Area NOW's sister organization, The Spokane Shrinking Violet Society, is seeking to fill our group's oldest, most important leadership roles: Ladies Who Lunch coordinator and Violet Bites newsletter editor.

We need someone who can:

Publish the Ladies Who Lunch Facebook event

Send an email reminder

Attend monthly brunch

Initiate introductions

Circulate a sign-in sheet

Publish the monthly Violet Bites email newsletter. (This can be a separate position)
Who might be good for this?
-
A friendly and dedicated person (or people), wanting to reconnect with their community.

Anyone who can use Facebook. Instagram and Twitter experience a plus.

Skills in marketing, PR, communications, journalism, social media or community organizing will be very helpful.
- Someone who is comfortable collecting community news and writing the monthly Violet Bites newsletter in Mail Chimp.
- There are further opportunities for anyone interested in becoming a mentor for girls and women. Please inquire for further details.
In return for helping to keep our monthly friends brunch well attended and exciting, you’ll get to know some of Spokane’s finest and will enjoy the personal satisfaction of helping to create life long friendships that change lives. This is an easy and deeply meaningful way to contribute to the quality of life for hundreds of friendly and creative people in our community.
We’ll provide you with personal training should you be willing to take on this important role. If you aren't available to perform these duties every month that is OK, we will help you put together a team of folks who can sub-in as needed.
