The U-District Mentoring Program & McDonald Elementary are looking for mentors!
Make a lasting impact in a child's life! Join us at McDonald Elementary in the Spokane Valley and become a mentor to an elementary student who will look forward to connecting with you each week.
This has been an unusually hard summer for Spokane. Kids do especially well when they have one steady, caring adult to count on — and that's exactly what this program offers
This rewarding opportunity requires just 30 minutes of your time once a week throughout the school year. Whether you're sharing lunch, playing board games, enjoying conversation, or heading out to the playground, you'll be creating meaningful moments that matter.
Program Details:
- Time: 30 minutes, once weekly
- When: Flexible scheduling between 11:00am-1:00pm, Monday through Friday
- Choose Your Day: Commit to just one day per week that works with your schedule
- Activities: Share meals, play games, make crafts, chat, or enjoy outdoor time together
- Support: School staff and the U-District Mentoring Director will ensure that you are supported throughout your mentoring journey
