Do you want to give your time but don't have legal experience? We accept volunteers who just want to give their time supporting the daily work necessary to keep IELA sustainable. IELA regularly has office and community work that can be done. We offer training on all our tasks and give you flexibility to choose your hours. We will conduct a background check and an informal interview.
Some tasks that may be done:
- Inserting client intakes into computer system.
- Assist at legal clinics with check in, set up and more.
- Researching new community partners, events, community info.
- Office admin duties (tidying and make sure materials are updated/restocked.
- Help plan and organize events such as fundraising, community outreach and more.
