Summary:
This person leads a small team of Foster Families in a Spokane/CDA geographical territory. This person will develop in-person relationships and be a resource for their Fosters. This person will report to Foster Specialists and the Foster Pack Leader.
Key Results Area #1 - Foster Team
- Communicate with Foster Families regularly to build trust and relationships
- Empathetic ear
- Looks for educational opportunities and follows through on lessons
- Relay important information from other team members to Fosters
- Works to problem solve with other Case Managers
- Escalate concerns as necessary to Foster Specialists
- Checks chats and email minimum once daily, excluding days off
Key Results Area #2 - Onboarding New Fosters
- Conducts home inspection and question/answer session
- Brings first placement or arranges to be at Foster’s home
Key Results Area #3 - Managing Caseload
- Visits Fosters weekly
- Maintains vaccine schedule for dogs with fosters and gives vaccines/dewormer/HW Prevention
- Connects Fosters with Rescue resources as necessary
- Works with Foster Specialist to help place dogs in open foster homes
- Tracks and records Foster status, placements preferences and schedules
