Volunteer: SAN Pantry Food CollectionSAN provides a weekly food pantry for our immunocompromised clients, people living with HIV & AIDS. On a weekly average, we server about 50 clients. We established this program last year after a hiatus and have not been able to get connected with 2nd Harvest due to the current crisis. We work with 2 local non-profits to source food items, but they are even having a hard time getting enough food for their own clients, let alone helping us. At this time, we really always need additional volunteers and access to foods, especially those rich in protein like eggs, chicken breast, oats, milk, greek yogurt, beans, peanut butter, and fresh fruit and vegetables. SAN does have a large chest freezer and access to multiple refrigerators and enough storage to be able to store items. If interested and able to donate food items, please let us know. We are able to take donations at our location with advanced notice since we are not always at the office.
