Volunteer: Assist with distribution and mailingFirst Wednesdays of September through June at 10 a.m., volunteers meet at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 24th and Grand, to deliver bulk orders of The Fig Tree and to send mailings. Volunteers work about 2 hours on their own and /or spend about 2 hours delivering papers to assigned routes in areas of Spokane. Mailing volunteers work at St. Mark's or may take mailings home. The directory is a vital resource for connecting the faith and nonprofit communities, helping their leaders in making referrals, and connecting people with opportunities to serve. We are recruiting a team of people to help plan ecumenical dialogue events, the Eastern Washington Legislative Conference in January, interfaith dialogues and discussions, and other event opportunities that arise. In addition to meetings, there are responsibilities for arrangements, as well as for volunteer recruitment. Meetings are on Zoom.
