Let's ALL try to make Spokane a little bit better each day.

Each day, I roll into the parking lot, grab my lunch from my car, run it into the breakroom fridge, and then go back to my car, grab my trash pickers (if this is what they are called?) and a bag, to walk my Washington trash route; up one side and down the other, over the bridge and back the other side. Why??? Well, because I truly believe that each of us, if we have the time and resources, should take a small step each day to make our life-space, our city, our Spokane, a better place for us all. I am off my soapbox now - sorry for that. I just truly, truly believe in the deepest corners of my heart that if we love our city, if we say it, then we have to show it each day in a small, tid-bit way; whether that means picking up trash in the parking lot on our way to the office front doors, or standing at that grocery store exit just a few more seconds to hold it open for the next grocery-grabber...the small thing matter. Put up or shut up, that's the stark way of saying it, but...PUT UP OR SHUT UP. As in, let's do this!!! Let's make our city, our Spokane, a better place each day in a small way (or BIG!).
