Who We Are

We are community members, committed medical professionals, and families of children with special needs who saw too many children who could be helped by therapy failing to receive services because of the high financial cost. Our mission statement is “Elevating children with special needs to reach their full potential by providing access to the resources and support they need to improve their family’s overall quality of life.” The current health insurance structure is forcing families of children with special needs to decide between paying for effective, evidence-based therapies and services or paying their household bills. The weight of realizing that your child's future isn't affordable is a tremendous burden to bear. This is why Elevations was founded in 2012. Together, we are building a better future for children with special needs and their families in our community.

What We Do

We help children with special needs reach their full potential. We all benefit when children are given what they need to become as successful in their community as their abilities allow. In a time of rising insurance premiums, rising deductibles, and rising co-pays, parents are forced to decide between paying for effective, evidence-based therapies and services or paying their household bills. The weight of realizing that your child's future is not affordable is a tremendous burden to bear. Elevations provides access to care through funding for copays, deductibles, under-insured limits, uninsured services, and specialized home equipment. No parent should have to choose between seeing their child thrive and putting gas in the tank or food on the table. Alleviating financial pressures can reduce stress for the entire family.
