THE EMERGING LEADERS SOCIETY IS A NETWORK OF PHILANTHROPIC YOUNG PROFESSIONALS SUPPORTING SPOKANE COUNTY UNITED WAY'S VISION THROUGH NETWORKING, VOLUNTEERING, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.

The Emerging Leaders Society allows members an opportunity to showcase their desire to contribute and be recognized for their level of contribution and involvement.

Members who elect to become a United Way “Emerging Leader” will be provided with but not limited to the following opportunities:

• Invitations to educational, professional development, leadership trainings and networking events within the company and the community

• Hands on volunteer opportunities with local agencies

• Serve on Emerging Leader Committees

• Company and Community recognition

The Emerging Leaders Society was established to provide early-to-mid career professionals an opportunity to develop leadership skills, network with like-minded individuals and elevate their commitment to making a difference in the community.  The society will give members many opportunities to expand their horizons as leaders in community efforts or to take ownership of initiatives that will help United Way to create lasting change in the community.

The Emerging Leaders Society is an opportunity for members to do something big, gain experience, expand their networks and make an impact. The Emerging Leaders’ Society is committed to creating a solid platform for like-minded, community oriented, mid-career professionals to develop skills to become the next generation of Spokane’s leaders.
