Resilient Families United

Who We Are

Resilient Families United (RFU) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting families raising children and youth ages 0–21 with developmental, behavioral, mental health, and other complex needs. We understand firsthand the challenges families face when navigating healthcare, education, and community support systems, and we believe no family should have to do it alone. Founded by a parent with lived experience, RFU was created to bridge gaps in services by providing compassionate peer support, advocacy, education, resource navigation, and opportunities for families to connect with one another. We work alongside caregivers to build confidence, strengthen family resilience, and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive. Through collaboration with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, and local partners, we strive to create inclusive, family-centered services that are accessible, culturally responsive, and grounded in dignity and respect. Our goal is to strengthen families, promote caregiver well-being, and build healthier, more connected communities where every family feels supported, valued, and empowered
