Volunteer Services, Catholic Charites of Eastern Washington

Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Charities of Eastern Washington. Rooted in a spirit of compassion and service, we warmly welcome and serve all eligible individuals in need, regardless of religious or spiritual beliefs. Our volunteers and recipients come from many walks of life, reflecting a rich diversity of faiths, traditions, and values which strengthen our shared desire to care for our community.

Volunteer Services seeks individuals and groups in the Spokane area who are interested in helping low-income seniors and adults with disabilities with simple but essential tasks that allow them to live independently and with dignity in their homes. These tasks include light housework, routine yard care, and transportation to grocery stores, medical appointments, or other essential errands. We offer flexible ways to get involved—whether someone can give just 1–2 hours per month, participate in a one-time project, or serve on an ongoing basis. Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome.
