Grant Park Community Garden

We are a community garden in Grant Park, in the lower South Hill of Spokane, in the Perry District Neighborhood. We were the first community garden established on city park property and have been gardening for about 20 years. We have 6 ADA boxes and a brick pathway for accessible gardening.

Our garden has 44 boxes and a large growing space! We maintain the garden and fenceline, add art to the fenceline, keep away noxious and invasive weeds, educate neighbors about gardening, earth worms, earth boxes, composting, weeding barriers and mulching. We have garden workdays for gardeners and neighbor volunteers to work on keeping the garden clean and growing! We get to know our neighbors by gardening together. We work with teachers and families in Grant Park Elementary to garden with us!
