SAJFS offers programs and support services to help strengthen individuals and families in our community, while incorporating Jewish principles, culture, and values.
What We Do
Here are some of the ways JFS currently serves the community:

Home, hospital, and hospice visits with seniors

Reassurance phone calls to seniors

Consultations focused on clients’ strengths and challenges

Referrals to relevant community resources

Client advocacy

Peer-led support group for caregivers

Annual fall-prevention class

Food assistance from the JFS food bank

Financial assistance for low-income clients who need help paying for rent, utility bills, or other basics

Transportation to medical appointments

Medical lending closet (wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, and canes)
