Who We Are

Junior Achievement of Washington is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people, from kindergarten through age 25, to own their economic success. Through hands-on learning experiences in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, we help students develop the skills and confidence they need to stay in school, plan for their futures, and succeed in a rapidly changing world.

What We Do

Through partnerships with educators and schools, Junior Achievement volunteers bring real‑world experience to life for students in a variety of ways. Volunteers support learning in classrooms, participate in remote and virtual experiences, and guide students through immersive simulations like JA Mobile Finance Park, where youth practice real‑world financial decision‑making. By sharing their knowledge and experiences, volunteers help students connect education to opportunity and see what’s possible for their own futures.

Volunteering with Junior Achievement means more than giving your time, it means making a meaningful, lasting impact on young people while strengthening the economic future of our community. When students succeed, we all do.
